WHAT ARE THE EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT?

Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development does not require students to have a college degree. However, all students must have obtained a high school diploma or GED for enrollment. 

HOW DO I ENROLL?

Please visit the Application & Enrollment page.  Complete and submit the admissions application.  Then click enroll, on your selected program. You will be prompted to make your first payment.

WHEN WILL I GAIN ASSESS TO MY FIRST COURSES?

After completing the enrollment application and making your first payment, courses will become available to within 24-48 hours.

WHAT ARE MY FIRST STEPS AFTER ENROLLMENT?

Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development highly recommends that all students complete Orientation.

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND AND WANT TO DROP THE PROGRAM?

The student MUST notify us of his or her desire to transfer or cancel IN WRITING prior to accessing the online course and within forty-eight hours of enrollment payment.  Requests MUST be sent via email (VERBAL requests are NOT accepted): AND; the students must NOT HAVE ACCESSED the course content.

WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE VIRTUAL EXPERIENCE?

All online programs require an Internet connection to access courses, interact with the instructors and other students via email and discussion boards.

HOW MUCH DOES AN ONLINE CLASS COST?

Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development online courses are recorded on an official Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development transcript, hence they are subject to the Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development tuition rate set by the Institutes Board of Trustees.  See the Tuition & Fees page. 

Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development tuition does not include required textbooks and course materials. 

WHAT ARE ACCEPTABLE PAYMENT METHODS?

Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development accepts all major credit cards (i.e. Visa, Master, Discover, American Express).

IS FINANCIAL AID AVAILABLE?

Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development is a non-traditional school. At this time financial aid is not an available option.

WHAT KIND OF CREDIT DO I GET?

At the successful completion of each course, you will receive Nwamara Institute for Integrative Health & Research Development credits

HOW WILL I BE GRADED?

Exams are graded real-time and a grade will be awarded immediately.  For other assignment submissions, students will receive grades approximately 7-10 days after submission. 

WHAT KIND OF STUDENTS DOES WELL WITH ONLINE LEARNING?

Generally, students who are self-motivated, organized, independent and have good time management skills excel in virtual programs.

WHAT IS THE TEACHING METHOD FOR VIRTUAL COURSES?

Teaching methods vary by course, but usually include exams, PowerPoint, interactive chat rooms, discussion board posts and synchronous lectures during residential institute.

WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT AN ASSIGNMENT?

Online learning takes place in a virtual classroom, hence questions about assignments or any part of the class should be directed to the faculty or teaching assistant by email or instructional platform.

HOW MUCH TIME WILL I SPEND IN MY VIRTUAL CLASSROOM?

Students usually spend approximately 38 hours in the virtual classroom.  It is important to note that this is an Advance program and courses and an entire semester is being offered in a few short weeks. 

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF EARNING A CERTIFICATE?
