Student Flow

Below is the full flow and process documenting when a student applies/signs up for a Program on the Nwamara Institutie for Integrative Health and Research.

 

Step 1: Student Submits Application

Global Archirecture

Content Hierarchy

  • Training/Course: Entity containing several modules (ex: CH21120: Introduction to African American ..)
  • Modules: Entity designed to contain online activities (ex: an exam)
  • Activities: Base enitiy for online activities such as quizzes, scores can be given for an activity and can be set as required for course validation 
  • Categories: Being utilized to create "Programs. Each course or training is assigned to a Category or Program
  • Learning Path: The structure and order of the modules and activities within your course or training.

 

Users and Classes

  • Users can be grouped into classes.
  • Both standalone users and classes can be registered to a training.
  • This makes easier to manage groups of users, for example to register all of them in one step to a new training, or to a live meeting or an instructor-led training.

 

User Roles

  1. Administrator: this role offers the larger panel of permissions, it allows to manage all users, all contents, consults statistics, and manage the platform settings
  2. Content Manager: this role makes possible to create new trainings, to manage all the trainings, all the training materials (modules, activities, etc.)
  3. User manager: this role allow to create new users, to manage all users, and to register users to the trainings
  4. Statistics manager: this role makes possible to consult all statistics for all trainings and all users
  5. Collaborative features: this role makes possible for a user to use the collaborative features (collaborative workspaces, live meetings). Please refer to the related sections for more details: Collaborative workspaces, Live meetings
